Such an amazing gem located in the Fort of Galle. Fatima and her husband are the sweetest hosts, explaining the origin of their dishes, the cultural mix between Bahrain and Sri Lanka and being very friendly. The food is excellent, with the fabulous twist of both culture correctly presented. And not being only good, the display is very detailed and precise. You have both indoor and outdoor seatings, yet places are limited. In summary: delicious food showing the mix of Bahrain and Sri Lanka cuisine with the warmest of the welcome ! I recommend !

Another gem tucked away within Galle Fort, I recommend going here if you ever find yourself wanting an escape from the hustle and bustle of the fort, a hide away from the sun and if you're looking to try some delicious food made with love. The moment you step into this neat little cafe, you feel that you've instantly travelled to a middle eastern cafe. The décor is beautiful and tastefully done. Little trinkets adorn the walls and a small bookshelf houses very interesting, mindful reads. If you're wondering which part of the Arabic world you've entered there are little giveaways as to where. Bahrain. The owner of the cafe is a wonderful, sweet and interesting woman who is so hospitable and gracious. The food is amazing. Absolutely fantastic. There is no fault to the food, from the taste to the way it's presented, everything is perfect. The prices are very modest. The array of teas and drinks available will keep you coming back for more and more. This is a must visit.

Unique cafe with middle eastern food, right in the middle of the fort and such a break from the hot weather. Very few cafés have air conditioning in Galle, and this is one. The Turkish coffee and the rose cookie was excellent too

One of my favourite experiences in Sri Lanka. How lucky we were to discover, by chance, this little gem on a day trip to Fort Galle.I loved the story around the creation of the cafe, it was so beautifully and soulfully written and I love the combination of the two cultures in such a thoughtful and sincere way. The unique menu, the sourcing and choosing of the highest quality ingredients - every item has a story behind it. The service was excellent, the presentation was beautiful. Everything was done with care. So rare to experience this nowadays. The combinations of flavours was sophisticated and delicious and I loved the rose and cardamon cookie. My only regret is that the owner was not there so we couldn’t meet her. Hopefully we will return one day. Thank you for creating something so special.

This was on oasis in the middle of the scorching Galle. The beautiful smell, the air conditioning, the attentive staff, the quietness of the place and the quality of their arabic coffee and specialty dates is something that sets this place apart. Highly recommend it
